Just as students are responsible for taking care of their library books and textbooks, they also are responsible for taking care of their school-issued Chromebook. While accidental damage does happen, you can avoid paying the full cost of repairs or replacement by enrolling in our optional assurance program.

Cost
The optional assurance fee is $20 per year, lowered to $10-15 for families who qualify for free or reduced-price meals. The cost to replace a device can be as much as $312.

Deadline
The deadline for current students to purchase this protection is Sept. 30. After this date, any damage to a Chromebook that does not have assurance will require the user to pay the full cost of repairs or replacement.

Next step: Accept or decline assurance

  • If you have already returned the assurance form, you do not need to take any further action.

  • If you have not returned the Upcoming deadline to protect your child’s Chromebook assurance form, please fill it out and return it to your child's school by Sept. 30.
