Changes to pickup and dropoff procedures

In an effort to make pickup and dropoff safer and more efficient and reduce traffic backup along Eaton Boulevard, we are implementing changes to our process starting Monday, Oct. 9. This process will apply only during pickup and dropoff times.

• Entrance and exit: Please enter the parking lot using the east driveway, located on the Maple Grove Primary side. Exit the lot using the west driveway, located on the RHL side.
• Traffic flow: See the map for directions on how traffic will be routed through the lot. Only a single lane of cars will be permitted for loading and unloading. Students may only enter and exit vehicles that are curbside.
• Walking through the parking lot: Students should only use the crosswalk to access the parking lot and enter a parked car. Students should not enter or exit cars that are in line for pickup or dropoff from the parking lot.

BGPS is evaluating longer-term options to increase parking and improve traffic flow around our campus. In the shorter term, we hope that these changes will improve the safety of students, parents, guardians and staff. Thank you for your patience and flexibility!

Изменения в процедуре посадки и высадки учеников

В целях повышения безопасности и эффективности работы по посадке и высадке учащихся, а также для снижения интенсивности движения на бульваре Итон (Eaton Blvd), с понедельника, 9 октября, мы вводим изменения в процедуру посадки и высадки. Эти изменения будут действовать только во время въезда и выезда автомобилей.

• Въезд и выезд: Пожалуйста, въезжайте на парковку через восточный въезд, расположенный со стороны школы Maple Grove Primary. Выезд с парковки осуществляется через западный въезд, расположенный со стороны RHL.
• Движение транспорта: Схема движения транспорта через парковку приведена на прилагаемой карте. Посадка и высадка учащихся из автомобилей будет разрешена только на одной полосе. Ученики могут входить и выходить только из автомобилей, находящихся на обочине.
• Ходьба по парковке: Ученики должны пользоваться пешеходным переходом только для того, чтобы попасть на парковку и войти в припаркованный автомобиль. Они не должны входить или выходить из автомобилей, стоящих в очереди на посадку или высадку.

BGPS рассматривает долгосрочные варианты увеличения парковки и улучшения транспортного потока в кампусе. В краткосрочной перспективе мы надеемся, что эти изменения повысят безопасность учащихся, родителей, опекунов и персонала. Благодарим вас за терпение и гибкость!

Cambios en los procedimientos de recoger y dejar de estudiantes

En un esfuerzo por hacer la recogida y la dejada de los estudiantes más seguros y más eficiente y reducir el tráfico que se junta a lo largo de Eaton Boulevard, estamos implementando cambios en este proceso a partir del lunes 9 de octubre. Este proceso se aplicará sólo durante las horas de recoger y dejar a sus estudiantes.

• Entrada y salida: Por favor entre al estacionamiento usando la entrada al este, localizada en el lado de la escuela primaria de Maple Grove. Salga del estacionamiento por la entrada oeste, ubicada del lado de RHL.
• Movimiento de tráfico: Por favor consulte el mapa para ver las instrucciones en cómo se dirigirá el tráfico a través del estacionamiento. Sólo se permitirá un carril de autos para dejar o recoger. Los estudiantes sólo podrán entrar y salir de los autos que estén en la acera/banqueta.
• Caminar por el estacionamiento: Los estudiantes sólo deben usar el paso de peatones para acceder al estacionamiento y entrar a un auto estacionado. Los estudiantes no deben entrar o salir de autos que están en línea para recoger o dejar en el estacionamiento.

BGPS está evaluando opciones a largo plazo para aumentar el estacionamiento y mejorar el flujo de tráfico alrededor de nuestro campus. A corto plazo, esperamos que todos estos cambios mejoren la seguridad de los estudiantes, padres, tutores legales y personal escolar. Gracias por su paciencia y su flexibilidad!
