Updated Parent Participation Website-  For all families, a notification that our Parent Participation Website is updated and has current news for families to see what is going on at River HomeLink and various ways they can get involved. The website is located under “RHL Families” on the RHL school website.

A Big Giving Tree Thank You!- Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year’s Giving Tree! It was a great success – every single gift request tag was taken, with our generous community asking if there were more! It is humbling and heartwarming to be part of this strong school community where we all come together in our mission of supporting families – supporting each other. Thank you for all you do to make our school a truly special place.

Cascadia Tech Program Presentations-

Who: Sophomores, juniors and their parents/interested individuals
When: During the World Studies classes (choose just one session–they are all the same):
Tuesday, January 14, block 3 (10:45-11:55) in room P1A
Tuesday, January 14, block 5 (1:50-3) in room P2B
Thursday, January 16, block 2 (9:30-10:40) in room P2B

Tour: Wednesday, February 12 at 9 am. Sign-ups will be available right after the presentation in RHL building, room 5 and ROL in the longhouse

River HomeLink Geography Bee- Grades 4-8 class champions will compete in the school bee. Come to the cafeteria from 10-11 this Monday, January 13th. Come cheer on our young geographers. For more info, contact Mr Graham, 360.334.8226.

Free Open Gym coming soon-  Students ages 6-15 years old are invited to join R.I.P.P.E.D. 4 Kids & Teens Overtime class for free. This is our all game hour! Two different class times to choose from. Come join us for one or both classes! Located at Lewisville Gym-406 NW 5th Ave. Battle Ground. Parent sign in required. We play new games like pinball, dodgeball, sprout, and tower topple. Also, other favorites like spiderball, basketball, kickball, scooter races, and soccer. Your student’s time at the gym qualifies for their fitness logs with AFAA certified trainer, Kristin. Bring a friend, or come meet a new one. Contact with questions through EnergyKristin on Facebook. You will find a flier posted with more details. We keep the fun in fitness! Saturday, January 18th from 12:15pm-1:15pm. Wednesday, January 22nd from 10:30am-11:30am.
