Hello River Families and welcome to the 23-24 school year!

As you know, Battle Ground Public Schools start Wednesday, Aug. 30th.  However, River HomeLink starts with mandatory orientations.  This happens Wednesday – Friday, this week.

In-person classes on our normal daily schedule start on Tuesday, September 5th at 8:15 am.

For our returning families, knowing that classes start a week later is not new information, but for our new families, this will be a different process.

As an Alternative Learning Experience (ALE), we utilize these first 3 days as a time to meet your teacher, get your curriculum supplies, and have your student complete a required activity.  While orientation is happening on campus, families should be engaging in at-home learning activities.

If your student is in K-8, you should have already heard from your Advisor and been given the opportunity to sign up for an orientation time with your teacher.

If your student is in high school, you should have received communication about times to come in and meet your teachers/advisors, and make schedule changes.

It is highly important that your student attend their assigned orientation schedule but if you did not get information from an Advisor…

Picture Days are Thursday, August 31, and Friday, September 1st from 9am – 3:30pm in the gym with a lunch break from 12:00 – 12:30pm.
